Spooks Strikes Back

Harry looks on as things fall apart.

Spooks has done it again. Just when I thought we were settled in for a long run with a main cast after last season’s re-shuffle they go and kill off another one. Despite the peril into which the MI5 agents are thrust week after week, I was in a state of some security (clearly unfounded) that they would come through unscathed. Perhaps the realisation that a secure and happy marriage was being portrayed on primetime BBC drama should have set alarm bells ringing that it couldn’t last, but the production team suckered me again…. and it makes it all the more watchable. Part of the ever growing “must-see-list” that clogs up my Sky Planner, Spooks is fine drama series that is well worth getting into, and even the old DVD releases stand up to repeated viewing.
