Housing Benefit

Oooh look…. a new set.

Back on the 9th September in this blog’s second ever post, I wrote about a surfeit of episodes of House that I and the Other Viewer had clogging up the space on the Sky Planner. I pondered the wisdom of sticking with the show at all given the same-y nature of the material. However, as we draw inexorably towards the end of season one, my faith in sticking with Hugh has paid off, substantially. The characters have been slowly and subtly revealed along with developing inter-relationships. The plots of individual episodes have been (while staggeringly difficult to follow the unravelling of the diagnosis) quite compelling and additional storylines, such as Vogler’s introduction and exit, the muted attraction between Cameron and House, and the unusual friendship that exists between House (again) and Dr. Chase have adden unforseen depth to procedings. Almost worthy of adding the DVD boxset to the collection…. depending strongly on the inclusion of extras (as I’d love to see some Hugh Laurie behind the scenes stuff, commentaries and out-takes).
